There once was a bunch of tiny frogs,... 1
في إحدى المرات كانت هناك مجموعة من الضفادع الصغيرة
who arranged a running competition
وقد رتبوا لمنافسة جري
The goal was to reach the top of a very high tower
كان الهدف هو الوصول إلى قمة برج شاهق جداً
A big crowd had gathered around the tower to see the race and cheer on the contestants... 1
و قد تجمع حشد كبير من الضفادع حول البرج لمشاهدة السباق و لتشجيع المتسابقين
The race began... 1
وبدأ السباق
Honestly: 1
وبكل أمانه
No one in crowd really believed that the tiny frogs would reach the top of the tower
لم يكن أحد من الجمهور ليصدق أن الضفادع الصغيرة باستطاعتها الوصول لقمة البرج
You heard statements such as: 1
"Oh, WAY too difficult!!" 1
فتسمع عبارات مثل:
" انه صعب جداً"
"They will NEVER make it to the top." 1
" لا يمكنهم أن يصلوا إلى القمة"
or: 1
أو:
"Not a chance that they will succeed. The tower is too high!" 1
" لا فرصة لنجاحهم . فالبرج عالٍ جداً "
The tiny frogs began collapsing. One by one... 1
بدأت الضفادع الصغيرة بالانهيار واحداً تلو الآخر
Except for those, who in a fresh tempo, were climbing higher and higher... 1
ما عدا أولئك الذين في أوج نشاطهم, فقد كانوا يتسلقون أعلى فأعلى
The crowd continued to yell, 1
"It is too difficult!!! No one will make it!" 1
واستمر الجمهور في الصراخ
" أنه صعب جدا !!!! لن ينجح أي منهم"
More tiny frogs got tired and gave up... 1
و تعبت المزيد من الضفادع الصغيرة و تخلوا عن السباق
But ONE continued higher and higher and higher... 1
This one wouldn't give up! 1
ولكن, واحد فقط استمر بالصعود أعلى فأعلى فأعلى
ما كان هذا الضفدع ليتخلى عن النافسة
At the end everyone else had given up climbing the tower. Except for the one tiny frog who, after a big effort, was the only one who reached the top! 1
وفي النهاية , تخلى الجميع عن تسلق البرج ما عدا ضفدع صغير والذي , بعد جهد جهيد, كان الوحيد الذي وصل للقمة
THEN all of the other tiny frogs naturally wanted to know how this one frog managed to do it? 1
وبطبيعة الحال ,أرادت جميع الضفادع الصغيرة أن تعرف كيف تمكن هذا الضفدع من أنجاز المهمة؟
A contestant asked the tiny frog how he had found the strength to succeed and reach the goal? 1
سأل أحد المتبارين هذا الضفدع الصغير كيف وجد القوة الكافية لأن ينجح و يبلغ الهدف؟
It turned out... 1
That the winner was DEAF!!!! 1
تبين أن ذلك الفائز أصم
The wisdom of this story is: 1

Never listen to other people's tendencies to be negative or pessimistic 1
لا تنجرف خلف ميول وأهواء الآخرين ليكونوا سلبيين أو متشائمين

لأنهم بذلك يخطفون منك أغلب أحلامك و أمنياتك الرائعة — تلك التي تحتفظ بها في قلبك
